Can You Prevent Heart Disease?

In our books we talk bout the importance of a good life style in maintaining health and preventing disease. Now for you stubborn non believers here are some interesting facts coming from a study published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.

Women who did not smoke, had a normal body mass index, exercised at least two and a half hours a week, watched an hour or less of TV a day, ate a healthy diet and limited alcohol to a drink or less a day had a 92% lower risk for coronary heart disease.

Think about this number. A 92% lower risk for coronary heart disease. Does this make it worthwhile to change your life style?
